He began to study music at the age of 10 and after having graduated at G. Verdi Conservatory in Milan, he approached the guitar. He worked with artists such as Max Pezzali, Ron, Biagio Antonacci, Franco Battiato, Claudio Baglioni, Lucio Dalla, Francesco Renga, Nek and Patty Pravo.
Guitarist and composer of the Pooh, he has also collaborated with artists such as Vasco Rossi, Riccardo Fogli, Massimo Ranieri, Gino Paoli, Marco Masini, Enrico Ruggeri, Raf, Gianluca Grignani, Mia Martini, Giorgio Faletti, Annalisa Minetti, Fiorellino, Zucchero and Tommy Emmanuel.
Specialized in rock-fusion, he began his career with some of the most famous leaders of Italian music, until the realization of his first solo album. His style is focused on the techniques of modern guitar, with special attention to the execution of complex arpeggios.
He started to play as a session man collaborating with artists such as Piero Pelù, Claudio Simonetti, Paolo Vallesi, Raf, Irene Grandi, Gianluca Grignani, Adriano Celentano, Marco Masini, Gianna Nannini, Elisa, Vasco Rossi, Rosana Arbelos, Edurne, Monica Naranjo and Thomas Lang.
Lead guitar and lead vocal of "Dire Straits Legacy" the Dire Straits "spin-off" with many of the former members from the original band (John Illsley, Phil Palmer, Alan Clark, Mel Collins, Danny Cummings, Jack Sonni, Pick Withers plus Steve Ferrone and Trevor Horn). He has collaborated and toured with Steve Phillips from The Notting Hillbillies, Richard Bennett the guitar legend from Nashville, William Topley, Paolo Bonfanti, and many other artists played thousands of gigs all over the world.
